Originally a history major, Irving initially wanted to pursue a career as a military historian, but after taking an accounting course while in community college he saw the value of having a career in the field, so he decided to change majors the following semester.
Irving went on to attend California State University, Fullerton for two years to obtain his Bachelor’s in accounting and started his career in public accounting while attending his last semester at CSUF. Irving worked in the assurance and audit services department while servicing clients in manufacturing and construction industries.
Irving continued his career in the consulting field with another fractional accounting company by performing and leading month-end closes, standardizing accounting procedures, and preparing financial statements for clients in the professional services, manufacturing, and non-profit industries.
In his free time, Irving loves spending time with his daughters and going to the boxing gym.
